Family Council Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is guardianship necessary?

A: We feel the answer is a resounding "Yes". We can refer you to a variety of resources for more information on this subject.

Q: Can I visit my family member?

A: Family or guardian visits are welcomed and encouraged. Be sure to contact the building QMRP for specifics.

Q: Will my family member be able to attend religious services/activities?

A: Yes. There are a variety of church services and activities available, which residents may elect to attend. Please contact us for details.

Q: Are residents able to have their own personal possessions?

A: Yes. Appropriate personal belongings such as clothing, shoes, electronics devices, toiletries, etc., are encouraged and accommodated.

Q: Who do I ask if I have questions or concerns?

A: Questions regarding your family member's program, health or daily activities can be answered by your building QMRP. If you would like to talk with other parents we invite you to contact a Family Council member.
