Off-Campus Services
The Developmental Center continues to develop and offer many of our traditional service to people who live off campus. While some of these services are tied to the campus, (i.e., dental therapy pool, communication lab), many are mobile services. Our primary target population for mobile services is rural areas of the state for assessments, positioning and seating evaluations, product design and procurement, follow-up, and consultations. All services are offered and have a required fee. There has been a strong interest in the hydrotherapy pool, assistive and adaptive technology, snoozlin' (relaxation) room, dental and the communication lab. These efforts are clearly leading to the actualization of the Center's role as a Resource to the State of Utah.
